Another fun and free OpenType font from type designer Cameron Sweeney at RipeType, Unite is a geometric san serif typeface that merges shapes from the circle and the square. Yet it is still clean and legible.

RipeType, has released the entire Ripe family for FREE.

This fresh, slightly quirky geometric slab serif font is a practical solution for headlines but also reads well in body copy. It's clean and clear and open. Great for brochures, ads, logos and more. And it works well at all resolutions including print, Web and screen media.

This OpenType family includes Regular, Light, Semibold and Bold with 577 characters in each weight, and 38 — that's 38 — ligatures, and alternate characters!

Another beautiful font from The League of Moveable Type, Raleway is an OpenType, ultra thin sans-serif from by type designer, Matt McInerney.

A modern slab serif, Pronounce, by type designer Cameron Sweeney, is is a free download from RipeType in Extended Extra Black and Extended Extra Black Oblique.

This OpenType font family is huge:

Elegant Jura from Ed Merritt at Ten by twenty is a TrueType serif typeface with a narrow proportion. Rounded, wedge shaped serifs add a modern touch to a classic serif font that is legible at small sizes.

And a hundred years later … Goudy Bookletter 1911 by Barry Schwartz is based on Frederic Goudy's Kennerley Oldstyle. This is a great oldstyle font with letters that nestle together tightly and evenly, needing little, if any kerning.
